Welcome to Maiker. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Maiker website, mobile application, and matchmaking services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Maiker, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Maiker," "we," "us").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Maiker. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or misrepresent your identity, age, marital status, or intentions.
You agree not to use Maiker to:
Maiker facilitates introductions between members and, at higher membership tiers, in-person events. We do not conduct criminal background checks on members. You are solely responsible for your own safety when communicating with or meeting other members, and we encourage meeting in public places and telling a friend or family member about your plans.
Maiker offers a free tier and a paid VIP tier. VIP subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by their respective terms. Event tickets are purchased separately and processed through our payment provider, Stripe.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or that we believe harms Maiker, our members, or third parties.
The Service is provided "as is." Maiker makes no guarantee that you will find a compatible match or that any introduction will result in a successful relationship.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maiker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages arising from your interactions with other members, whether online or in person.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms and Conditions and describes the standards of conduct expected of everyone using Maiker.
If you encounter behavior that violates this policy, you can report it to hello@meetmaiker.com. We review all reports and take action ranging from a warning to permanent account termination.
Violations of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, at Maiker's sole discretion.

Maiker offers a free membership tier and a paid VIP membership tier. VIP includes additional daily introductions and access to VIP-exclusive events. Current pricing and plan details are always shown in the app before you subscribe.
Event ticket prices vary by event and are displayed at checkout before purchase. Ticket payments are processed securely through Stripe.
VIP subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play, in accordance with their billing terms, and can be cancelled anytime through your device's subscription settings.
Maiker cooperates with law enforcement in accordance with applicable law. This page describes how we handle official requests for user information.
We disclose user data to law enforcement only in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant, unless a valid exception applies (for example, an emergency involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury).
If you believe there is an emergency involving imminent danger, contact local law enforcement first. Law enforcement can then submit an emergency disclosure request to hello@meetmaiker.com identifying the nature of the emergency.
Law enforcement agencies should send legal requests, on agency letterhead, to hello@meetmaiker.com. We will acknowledge receipt and respond in accordance with applicable law. We do not require notarization but do require the request to identify the specific account or information sought.
Except where prohibited by law or court order, Maiker will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected user before disclosing their information.
We will preserve account records for 90 days upon a valid preservation request from law enforcement, pending receipt of formal legal process.
When you join the Maiker waitlist, we collect your name, email address, city, gender identity, dating preference, and age. This information helps us understand our community, notify you when Maiker launches in your area, and build a better product.
Your information is used solely to notify you when Maiker becomes available in your area and to improve the product ahead of launch. We will never use your information for any purpose you would not reasonably expect.
Waitlist submissions are stored securely through our hosting infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes. Ever. Full stop.
You can request that we update or permanently delete your information at any time. Email us at hello@meetmaiker.com and we will take care of it promptly.

Event tickets purchased through Maiker are refundable up to 48 hours before the event start time, minus any payment processing fees. Refund requests within 48 hours of the event are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
If Maiker cancels an event, all ticket holders receive a full refund automatically.
VIP subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds for subscription charges are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies, not Maiker's. You can request a refund directly through your Apple ID or Google Play account.
